Projects and Interviews

Below are projects, interviews, and stories I produced. Throughout my time at Elon, I have had the opportunity to tell the story of alumnae and current student-athletes, as well as administrators who make a difference for the student population.

Jennifer Strawley Interview

During my sophomore year I was selected to interview Jennifer Strawley, Elon University’s first female athletic director. This interview, which occurred recently after her hire, served as a marketing opportunity for many multimedia platforms at the university. Attached is an excerpt of my conversation with Athletic Director Strawley.

Donovan Williams NASCAR Package

As producer of "Inside the Nest," I was given the opportunity to travel to Concord, North Carolina, and visit Hendricks Motorsports. While there, I produced a story about Donovan Williams, a pit crew member for NASCAR and Elon Alumnus. Attached below is his story from field to track.

Women's Club Rugby Package

Throughout the course of my first year at Elon, I was a member of Elon News Network, the student run news program on campus. One week, I was asked to create a news package for the show, and I chose to highlight the women's club rugby team. Attached below is the story of their squad.

Multimedia Website Project- Breaking the Mold

For my final project in "Digital News Production," we were tasked with creating a multimedia platform to highlight a specific topic. Attached below is my final website, which was a feature on females in Elon University Athletics.
